The Need to use Non-Violent means to Resolve Conflict

Evangelical Christians tend to have different doctrines and strong beliefs that are different from those of the other Christians that has raised a lot of concern throughout the world from the other Christians. the evangelical Christians do not believe in helping the need and they try to show that the white race is superior to other races in the world. They are strong proposers to the usage of military intervention to bring diplomacy. Use of peaceful diplomacy has the advantage of no lives that will be lost due to violence hence taking care of what God created.

People always say that when you are attacked, you can use force to make sure that you are safe and your property is also protected. This also applies to those who also end the lives of the attackers during this incident. People also say that it is a way of punishing the person for their deeds that they have chosen to do. from the bible, we learn that every person is created according to the will of God and in the image of God and therefore we have no authority to kill or think that we are better than others. The life of a human being is worth than the money that they tried to steal hence the need to try and avoid harm or killing others.

There is the thought that people who do not solve violence with violence are cowards who let the others mistreat them. It is not right to think that because bloodshed is not the only way that you can use to have resolution to your problems. Because one is a pacifist, it does not mean that one is easy going to everything that is said or commanded.

History has the records of people who did not result to violence to solve violence and in the end they emerged victorious for what they had been pushing for. The examples are people like Mahatma Gandhi of India, Martin Luther King of the United States and from the Bible we see Jesus Christ Himself. They all were oppressed, mistreated and abused in their verge to achieve what they had in mind and they did not give up nor did they resolve to using violence and in the end they reaped from their determination.

We used violence to gain the independence of our nation. This has become the spirit that our country embraces. What we get in the end is not profitable at all. It is sure that if we need to inherit God’s kingdom, then we shall try and accommodate love to all and forget about violence.
